XRack is incorporated to monitor racking with flexible-electronics sensors
XRACK TECHNOLOGIES, S.L. starts operating in 2026 within the TheNextPangea ecosystem, with a clear first focus: the deformation of warehouse racking uprights.
XRACK TECHNOLOGIES, S.L. was incorporated in 2026 and is registered with the Commercial Registry of Asturias (Spain). The company was born within the TheNextPangea ecosystem, which brings together teams in materials science, biotechnology and artificial intelligence.
What it does
XRack's main activity is experimental research and development, together with software development and the manufacture of measuring instruments. In practice that means three pieces developed together: flexible-electronics sensors, the electronics that read them and the software that turns their signals into useful information.
First focus: racking uprights
XRack's first product is a monitoring system for pallet racking. Flexible-electronics sensors bonded to the uprights record their deformation continuously and tell apart two very different situations:
- Elastic deformation: the upright takes a knock and springs back.
- Plastic deformation: the upright stays permanently deformed and action is needed.
Next step
The immediate work is validating the system in real warehouse conditions. We will publish specifications as they are confirmed: we'd rather not put out a number before we've measured it.
If you run a warehouse and would like to see the system, write to contact@xrack.es.
